Comprised of front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper (dry carbon wings available separately), ASI’s Ferrari F430 body kit offers aerodynamic performance identical to Ferrari stock parts but at a 27kg weight reduction.

The rear bumper of this kit compatible both with the F430′s stock exhaust (side release), and ASI’s Ferrari performance exhaust system (“Scuderia”-style center release), which offers additional performance optimization.

What is dry carbon?

Dry carbon is carefully crafted using specially heated and molded resin, which has been pre-pregnated into a woven carbon fiber sheet. The sheet is fitted into a mold and then sealed by heating under extremely high pressure.

The F1-quality autoclaves and carbon steel molds required to endure the high temperatures and pressures involved in this process significantly increase the cost of production compared to regular (FRP) parts, but the dry carbon process produces feather-light parts with optimal strength.

Dry carbon is widely used in production of race cars, airplanes, high-speed trains and space shuttles.

“Dry” carbon is distinct from “carbon fiber” parts, which typically involve stretching a carbon fiber sheet over the top of a base material for aesthetic effect, and offer little to no weight or strength benefit. Also, because dry carbon is shaped prior to hardening, the weave (the appearance of the carbon fiber) is perfect every time.

Why dry carbon?

For an extremely heavy vehicle like the Bentley Continental, the weight savings offered by dry carbon parts has only marginal effect on performance, but these products remain popular among owners who appreciate the technique and skill that goes into dry carbon production.
