I know I haven't posted here in a while.

ASI has been really busy every day developing new parts. (or maybe we just don't have enough staff?)

On our schedule is asi Green's first model, the 2010 prius!

And I also went to cheer at the Ferrari trophy final round!

And ASI is testing our Ferrari dry carbon race wing.

And lots of other small things too.

But!!!

My excuse for not having updated you in so long is just as I wrote in the title, I'm moving my blog to Wordpress.

I've been busy packing, so to speak. (smile)

I'll let you know the address tomorrow.

Here come's another typhoon!

This time it's #20!!!

Number 20's name is Lupit (which means "frigid" in Tagalog).

This time there will be no effect on Japan but.....

One car got trashed in the typhoon!

500x_Beautiful_Lamborgini_crash

Well, that's a joke, but I found this picture with at title like "Even crashed, the Lamborghini is beautiful."

Back on topic!

Sorry to keep you waiting.

Our ASI F430 Exhaust System! is now finished and ready for sale.

_MG_2867

And, this exhaust system...

_MG_2869

Is a collaboration model between ASI and the great Ito Racing!!!

Do I even need to explain the sound and peformance any more than that!?

Those of you who have placed orders already will be receiving your exhaust systems soon.

And for those of you still considering it, we will have them in stock and ready to ship by the end of the month!!!

We're waiting for your orders and inquiries.

And another car that I'm interested in recently.

CIMG9269

I've now begun daydreaming about Poshe Panamera designs!!!

There was a headline in a major Japanese magazine about this month's Tokyo Motor Show, which I mentioned on my blog the other day.

"Foreign money flees Tomo" (Tomo = Tokyo motor show)

The news was that nearly all of the foreign makers scheduled to participate in the show have pulled out!!!

Basically, one of the reasons is that the nearby China (Shanghai Motorshow) has drawn everyone's attention.

And I recently looked into the current situation of the show where ASI made it's world debut, the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov 3-6).

I was really surprised to see empty booth spaces!!!

But even with the automotive industry in such peril...

I discovered a hot piece of news!!!

221266

Do you know what this is!?

221267

221265

Those are fabulous doors, they look like flapping wings!!!

221268

And it's a midship!

It's a lightweight Japanese-made sports car loaded with a Mazda Turbo (270ps), and dubbed The "Supasse V", and it will be on display at the Tokyo Motor Show!!!

The developers of this car.... got their approval from the National Transport Bureau in 2004, and have made a name for themselves as a proper automobile maker!!!

They're "Suzusho", and just like ASI, they're from Japan... Aichi prefecture... Nagoya city!!!

Lots of details......... here,

What an excellent car!!! (and great power!!!)

All the foreign makers may be retreating from Tomo, but I'm definitely going to go and see this car!!!

After the typhoon passed us by, the beautiful weather just keeps coming.

I recently paid a visit to Japan's Bentley dealer, Cornes.

Because of the poor economy, I haven't seen any of the '09 Continental GTs or Flying Spurs out on the roads.

CIMG9009 CIMG9011

But I really like the minor changes, very cool Bentleys!!!

Anyway, I also went to Suzuka Circuit to cheer for my friends and watch the "Formula Enjoy" category of the clubman races, which many of my friends are participating in.

We had clear skies!!

CIMG9181 CIMG9179

The car numbers for my friends' 3 cars were 1, 66 and 81!

CIMG9175 CIMG9187

CIMG9176 CIMG9189

CIMG9183 CIMG9188

The Enjoy category this time had 4 more entries in total, making for a 21 car race.

The results............

I think everyone is.........

a little out of practice, perhaps!?

Better luck next time!!!

The Frankfurt Motor Show has ended, and now it's time for the biannual Tokyo Motor show!

A rush of new cars have been coming out all over the world, and I think most of them look really cool!

One of them that I like is a reconstruction?.....

From Gullwing-America!

A Mercedes Benz 300SL Panamericana replica model.

Apparently the motif comes from the 1952 racing machine rather than the city-spec 1954 300SL.

* Details.... here

196167 196169

And one more from America!

A DeLorean revival!?

I'm looking forward to the 41st Tokyo Motor Show, starting on the 24th!!!

Today typhoon #18 (Melor) passed over us with no trouble!!!

And from the famous import tuner shop in Kobe, VITAMIN, I received these pictures of our recently completed ASI F430 Demo Car!!!

VITAMIN_Ferrari_F430

That's cool!!!

It's just perfect with the black wheels on the white F430!!!

VITAMIN_Ferrari_F430_2 VITAMIN_Ferrari_F430_4

Just the kind of work I expect from Vitamin!

They are well known for their consistently outstanding sense.

Ah!

That reminds me!

Yesterday, from typhoon #18 (Melor).......

I received this present...

It is currently October 7th, 11:00pm, and I am at my office working!

Outside is... well, I can't see from where I'm sitting.

But the typhoon is working it's way closer and closer to us!!!

japan_near_small P1

The worst for my company's area should be right around daybreak...

I was really relieved just the other day when we had no inclement weather on the 50th anniversary of the big Ise-bay typhoon.

But now we have a big typhoon, the kind we typically only get once every 10 years.

And so!?

We decided our child's junior company's name!!!

gview

The new junior brand's first tuning project will be the new Prius, US-version!

What does that have to do with the typhoon....!?

Anyway! Here's the final front design that we'll be selling soon!!!

I hope you like it, and please send me your opinions.

ASI F430 Dry Carbon Wing, Circuit Type II PDF Print

We just finished installing our ASI dry carbon circuit wing (type II) to this F430 challenge, which will getting it's shake-down in the upcoming Japanese Ferrari Trophy race!!!

p1

Before (above)

and After...

IMG_3906 IMG_3905

Yeah!

That's hot!!!

I'm looking forward to some good results for the trophy race's 4th round.

The wing is 1800mm wide, very threatening!!!

And how about a wing for the new Prius!?

CIMG8960

.............is what people have been asking me, but I don't know....

We're currently developing our body kit for the domestic and US version Prius at a lightning fast pace.

But on a personal note, I'm actually more fond of the normal design of the Prius than the normal versions of the Ferrari and Bentley...!!!

So I'm kind of worried...

We're working hard to succeed in making and even better design for the Prius!
